Gin-Campari Grapefruit Sour
Gin-Campari Sours are a time honored classic in the cocktail world. Our take on the traditional drink is made anew by substituting the customary lemon for equally refreshing grapefruit.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, Campari, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, bitters, and egg white, and shake until combined. Fill the shaker three-quarters full with ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds, or until egg white is incorporated and frothy.
Strain into a coupe glass, and garnish egg white with grapefruit juice.
- 1 1⁄2 ounces gin
- 3⁄4 ounces Campari
- 3⁄4 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
- 1⁄2 ounces simple syrup
- 1 egg white
- 1 dash grapefruit bitters
