Simply French Toast

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 8 thick slices of bread

Preheat a skillet over medium heat, and grease with butter.

In a shallow dish, whisk together all of the ingredients, with the exception of the bread. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture on both sides and place onto the hot skillet. Cook each side for 3 to 4 minutes, until golden brown.

Finish with powered sugar and syrup.
